Open links in the right browser
Work links in one browser and profile, private ones in another.
A link opens in the browser you choose — with a profile, if you like (Chrome — Work).
Where the choice comes from
Waypoint goes down this list and uses the first one set:
- the link’s own choice (in the link editor),
- its group’s choice (Edit group › Open links with),
- the groups above it,
- the default in Settings › Browsers,
- your macOS default browser.
Each choice is an ordered list: if the first browser is not installed, the next one is used.
In a browser’s panel, a link without any choice opens right there in that browser.
Profiles
Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Helium) and Firefox-based ones (Firefox, Zen) open a named profile. Safari has no profiles to choose from.
